Meet The Artist
Elizabeth Evans is a visual storyteller who uses brush, paint and canvas to capture “special moments”. She developed her representational painting style to showcase landscapes, seascapes, animals and nature.
She graduated from Montreal Museum of Fine Art in the 1960's where she was mentored and befriended by Arthur Lismer, a founder of the “Group of Seven”.
In 2022 she was named Artist of the Year by the Nature Trust of B.C.
She's a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Artists for Conservation and the Canadian Society of Artists where she regularly participates in group exhibitions.
